How affiliate links affect our reviews
- They don’t. Commissions do not influence which tools we review, what we write about them, or who we say should skip them.
- We review tools whether or not they have an affiliate program, and many tools we cover pay us nothing.
- Vendors cannot pay for a review, for placement, or for a better verdict, and they do not see reviews before publication.
How to recognise affiliate links
Links that take you to a vendor’s website from a review — for example “Visit Cursor” — may be affiliate links. Every review carries a short disclosure at the top that points to this page. Affiliate links are marked for search engines with rel="sponsored".
Sponsored content
We do not currently publish sponsored content. If we ever do, it will be clearly labelled as sponsored at the top of the page.
